Today, I heard slam poem. It sound like rap of song. Their poems have rythms and fluently.
In last class, we learned old style poems and one of them, the words pronounce was considered in last words.
I guess the one of concequences of poem is the rythm from the words. Pronaunce and punctuation makes poem easy to hear and accept from my years or mind.
The old style poems usually write abstract substance, but slam one is more free, more emotional, and more frank. In the class, the poem we used to learn is "Ars Poetica", says "A poem should be palable and mute", and "A poem should be motionless in time". And I recognize, it is a one of construction. We can create old fashioned or modern one.

English 1020 Poems "Blue or Green" and "Ars Poetica"
-Blue or Green -
On this work, the word of "poem" is used to represent person.
So it says,
"Some poems belong together to prove the intentionality of subatomic particles."
Or, "Some poems eat with scissors." like a poem take an action as a human being.
Also, the feature distinguish of this poem is its form. The sentence line is making
steps on purpose. Although I cannot figure out what this form wants to imply for us,
it is an outstanding feature in this poem.
I guess, this poems are describing about human intrinsic characteristic and certain women
as an example of extension of that representation.

----Ars Poetica-----
First of all, I recognized this poem has balanced form of sentence.
In three parts of paragraph, there are 4 chunks sentence per a paragraph.
They have 2 lines per a chunk, and the length also almost same.
Also, the initial and end of the word's pronounce is same in each chunk.
Not all of them, however, in first paragraphs, it begin with "A"and next line
use "As" is repeated in chunk of 4. This same us second paragraph and slightly different,
but third paragraph also same.
End words in first paragraph are same in each chunks. For instance,
"mute" and "fruit", "Dumb" and "thumb", "stone" and "grown", and "wordless" and "birds".
Substance of this poem is talking about what the poem ought to be.
Poems are tranquility, and not emotional.
In order to let us image that concept, author used beautiful examples.
For instance, "Dumb As old medallions to the thumb," and
"Leaving, as the moon releases".
Just I could not grasp meaning of the last sentence, "A poem should not mean But be."
